Benalto Booster Club
The Booster Club was organized in 1913 and later we became a society. The club was formed as a liaison between the County of Red Deer and the Hamlet of Benalto. The Booster Club is responsible for the care and upkeep of the Benalto Cemetery and the flower beds throughout the hamlet. The club organizes and hosts the annual Tailgate Sale which is held the Saturday of Rodeo Weekend. We close a street where you can find lots of bargains and fun. Throughout the year, we host clean-ups, dances, potluck suppers and our annual Christmas Tree burn and fireworks.
The Booster Club meets at the leisure center, the first Tuesday of each month from September to June.
The former train station has been donated back to the Booster Club!! We need to raise in excess of $30,000 to get this piece of history back to Benalto.
